All Daniel saw was the blurry shape of the scaffolding passing by him, and all he heard was the sound of blood pounding in his ears. Despite his panic, he found himself wondering whether he would feel it when he hit, or if he would just die instantly. Then he was no longer falling. Somebody had a hold of him, and that someone was floating in midair. He turned his head and saw Eric smiling back at him. “Hi, Daniel. I guess it’s time we talked, huh?”
Das erste Buch das ich seit langem in Englisch (meine Englischkenntnisse hatten es nötig) gelesen habe und ein ganz wunderbares noch dazu! Am 25. September erscheint glücklicherweise die Fortsetzung, denn am Ende wünscht man sich, dass die Geschichte weiter geht!
